I' have been interested for some while in enzymatic computation: the fast, purely chemical, signal processing pathways that make up the cell's "peripheral nervous system". Our local group also mantains a strong interest in the slower and more complex pathways of DNA computation and genetic intelligence.

I have shown that enzymatic computation has universal Turing power.
